We're really excited to reveal the new look, feel, and approach of our website, lionbrothers.com – a space designed with your needs in mind. While this can offer you product solutions that will solve your problems and meet your customer demands, it’s more about empowering you with knowledge, tools, and insights that can impact your business at a foundational level. Let's take a journey through some of the key features of our revamped website and change the way you look at what’s possible for apparel decoration.

1. Core material guide: the toy box

You know you don’t want the same old, same old, but where do you start? What materials can I print on (a ton), do you have reflective materials (several, you gotta see our rainbow reflective), what about something shiny (can you please be more specific, we got glitter, lamé, foil, iridescent, satin…). Our Core Material Guide gets you access to all the toys in Lion’s toy box for free online. Also, don’t forget everything we make is made to order to fit your exact needs and specifications. These materials are just starting points that are powerful alone, but better together. Do you like the old school appeal of felt but also like the cool factor of our leather? Let’s layer them and do both, we can make that happen for you.

2. Trend reports: stay ahead of the curve

You need to know what your customers are going to want before they do. Lion’s designers create an annual trend release forecasting market, fashion, and material trends a year and a half out from the current season. We collect these insights from around the globe so that you can be well positioned for the future and meet those customer demands. Get immediate access to this seasons current trend collection featuring high resolution sample photos that are so clear it’ll feel like you have them in your hands. Or contact us for exclusive access to the future trend collection forecasting what’s on the horizon. Our team of designers are more than happy to work with your own art department or use their intimate understanding of our materials for conceptual design services that will turn your art into decorations that align with the industry trends.

3. Stitch guide: your comprehensive resource

Embroidery has been around forever so it only makes sense that what you can do with it is near limitless. Lion Brothers got its start over 120 year ago with needle and thread and we’ve distilled everything we learned in that time into this guide, also available for free now online. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting, this resource offers valuable insights into stitch techniques, patterns, motif fills, and much more. Even if you’ve been using embroidery forever, we guarantee you’ll find new ways to mix up your designs and really stand out.

4. Chenille guide: a classic reimagined

Chenille isn’t just for your dusty old letterman’s jacket, even though you would still look great in it. It is and can be so much more now. Did you know it could be different heights? Or that we can print on it? Let’s throw in some metallic thread, or pair it with 3D embroidery even. Discover the artistry of chenille with our comprehensive guide. Inside you’ll find examples of different heights, thread finishes, print examples, specialty options, and more.

5. Materials and techniques: oh the possibilities

You’ve got this great design that’s going to look awesome in your next line of hoodies, but how do you bring that design to life? What material is it made of and maybe more importantly, why? Dive into the extensive listings of products and patches we offer. Each accompanied by detailed information like price point, how to apply it to your garment, design rules, specialty offerings, and more. It can be a lot to consider and that’s why we have teams of merchandisers to help ensure you make choices that align with your creative vision and business goals.

6. Sustainability: crafting with a conscience

We believe in sustainable manufacturing and have the numbers to prove it. Today, more than 95% of Lion’s core materials and threads are made from recycled materials, a fact we are extremely proud of. However, leading the apparel decoration industry in sustainability doesn’t happen overnight, we’ve only been able to get here because we made sustainability a priority years and years ago. Rest easy knowing that everything we do together will already have eco-friendly materials and manufacturing practices baked into it. The rest of those numbers I mentioned earlier on the site too.

7. This blog, everything we know, for you

In an industry with an insatiable demand for newness and fresh ideas, it can be hard to keep up. A lack of innovation in a brand or apparel line can lead to customers losing interest and lost sales. Our blog is curated by industry experts to be a library of valuable insights that you can use to help grow your business and engage with existing customers as well as attract new ones. Whether it’s a focused deep dive on the versatility of chenille, the top five looks your customers are going to want to see next season, or how heat applied decorations can get you three times faster production speeds compared to direct embroidery and screen print, you’ll be able to find it here. So, keep your eyes on this space for regular, industry leading content.
